How the idea was born

ChatSim is the brainchild of Manuel Zanella. In 2003, after his honeymoon in Kenya where he spent a fortune in phone calls, Manuel Zanella had the idea of creating a SIM card to reduce the cost of international roaming. That card is ChatSim.

The founder

Manuel Zanella, is also the founder and CEO of Zeromobile, the low-cost roaming mobile operator established in 2007. ChatSim has one goal: making people chat free of charge with their messaging apps.

It saves me a lot of money on mobile data for my exchange! It comes especially handy when I travel around that I don't have to buy a new simcard or data plan. Save the trouble of even searching about the price and plan of each country i visit. The connection is stable and reasonably fast.
